Welcome to Haddonfield, Illinois
On Halloween, 1978, six year old Michael Myers put on a clown costume and took a knife to his eldest sister, Judith. Announced as mentally unwell he was taken to Smith's Grove Sanitarium.
"I watched him for fifteen years, sitting in a room, staring at a wall, not seeing the wall, looking past the wall - looking at this night, inhumanly patient, waiting for some secret, silent alarm to trigger him off. Death has come to your little town."
Fifteen years later, Michael Myers escaped Smith’s Grove Sanatorium in search of his record wiped sister, now named Laurie Strode. On this particular night he upped his killing record to six in total. Michael was shot six times and fell out of a top floor window...
Michael was gone. But not forgotten...
Over a twenty three year period the iconic Michael returned to Haddonfield on several occasions, always in pursuit to end his bloodline through vicious attacks.
Twenty three years later, he is yet to win. He is yet to die.
Welcome to Haddonfield, Illinois.
Although his presence is unknown, the white faced, black overaled man is not forgotten from the memory of the Town’s folk. Least of all LOCKDOWN, a unique group of teenagers who are bound to each other from all different cliques and walks in life, with one thing in common; a passion and a desire to find out the truth about Michael, to scare each other as they spend haunted nights in the Old Myers’ place, to hate each other and love each other.
People still cross the street when they pass his house.
Heartbeats still race at the shadow of a man.
The local school still fuels the imaginations of the teenagers as they go about their usual business. Life is never easy in the day of a teenager. Even in Haddonfield there is still sex, drugs and violence. Even in Haddonfield there is still arguments, affairs and fights. Heartbreak is no stranger to the teenagers here, neither is pregnancy and family disputes. But in Haddonfield everything is that little bit harder!
“I met him, fifteen years ago. I was told there was nothing left. No reason, no conscience, no understanding; even the most rudimentary sense of life or death, good or evil, right or wrong. I met this six-year-old child, with this blind, pale, emotionless face and, the blackest eyes... the DEVIL'S eyes! I spent eight years trying to reach him, and then another seven trying to keep him locked up for I realized what was living behind that boy's eyes was purely and simply... EVIL!”
Are you brave enough to go and ask TREAT OR TRICK on the MYERS front door? Could you fit into LOCKDOWN? Is Michael a myth, a legend, or a piece of reality awaiting his next move?
