Cherrissa usually keeps to herself, mostly because of her shy nature. She doesn't enjoy a whole bunch of noise. If you were there in the house with her, you might not even know she was there if you didn't see her sitting there.

LOW SELF ESTEEM;;;
She always puts herself down and never believes in herself. Even if something is going on that she doesn't approve of she never speaks her mind. This is mostly because she fears being made fun of.

WET BLANKET;;;
Ever since her best friend died in a car accident after a party, Cherrissa became the wet blanket of her friends. She stopped going to parties and stopped smoking weed then as well. After school she hardly ever leaves the house, being afraid of losing her own life.

Cherrissa, having to deal with people making fun of her for the longest time, wouldn't wish that upon everyone, especially looking on her eating disorder. With this, Cherrissa tries her hardest to always be nice and respect everyone. If she has something to say that is mean, she keeps it to herself.

Cherrissa was born to a seventeen year old Elissa Daniella Reeser after a run-in with her father the evening after homecoming her mother’s senior year. Cherissa was a mistake but her mother decided to keep her with the help of her own mother and father. Her father, Andrew, was there for her for the first two years of her life, before he left her in the car in the McDonald's parking lot while he worked for two hours. Her mother told him to leave and to stay out of her daughter's life. Shortly after, her father moved to Arizona and started dealing drugs. Hearing this, her mother, who regretted kicking him out of her daughter's life, stopped trying to come into contact with him. Elissa's mother and father decided they wanted to move to Hartdowns, Arkansas so Elissa chose to move with them, brining along baby Cherrissa.

Eight years after Cherrissa’s father, her mother met Harry Thompson, being with him only a year, Elissa became pregnant with Harry’s child, who left her right after he found out she was pregnant. After that, Elissa stayed single and happy. Cherrissa hardly ever gets along with her little brother. He often hits her and beats on her and gets away with it. Her mother never takes her side and if she did anything in self defense she gets grounded for absurd amounts of time. She hates that Elissa never believes her and yells at her for no reason so Elissa and her mother are not very close at all. While being home, Elissa spends almost all of her time in her room.

Starting up at the age of twelve in middle school, she started going to parties. She would drink and do drugs even at that young age. One year, while being thirteen, she had made friends with Lacie De'novea who had gotten just a bit too drunk at said party. Being old enough to drive, Lacie had went off severely intoxicated. She drove off a cliff, the car rolling fifteen times before it stopped. Lacie did not survive, which made Cherrissa fear going out to parties. She stopped going out on weekends and after school, fearing for her life.

Cherrissa was always a little over weight and definitely wasn’t as pretty as the other girls and often got picked on by the other girls and boys. It stayed this way for the majority of her school year but got worse during the beginning of her freshman year. This one specific boy, Chad Mitchell, a sophomore, made a habit of poking fun at her almost every single day, calling her fat most of the time. She finally got fed up with the constant being made fun of so she stopped eating, exercising too much, and stopped drinking juice, switching to only water and diet sodas. As her weight dropped, Chad continued picking on her, more than usual. Her mother never addressed the issue, thinking that the weight loss was just her body going through changes.

She now is living her summer, still battling with her anorexia. It is harder for her to slip past her mother without eating because she is home all day now. Her mother has actually started paying her to get out of the house and do something other than sit at the library or spend that money at the mall. Cherrissa often lies about what she does and still spends it at the mall or the library. From time to time she will sit at the park or go to the beach, but never in her swim suit, being too self conscious. It seems her like her luck that Chad shows up whenever she's at her "worst" so she tries to avoid doing such as much as possible.
